  • Jonathan Sorensen

    senior Pastor

    Jonathan has served as our senior pastor since February 2021. Jonathan loves helping people find the life-changing love of Jesus Christ by teaching and preaching the Scriptures. He and his wife, Jacinda, have been married since 2008, and they have one son, Caleb.  In his free time, Jonathan enjoys drinking coffee, kayaking, and reading a good book.

  • LARRY SASSER

    WORSHIP LEADER

    Larry has served as our worship leader since 2019. He has served as an interim music and worship leader in several other churches over the years. His desire is to lift up praises to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and invite others to join in. He and his wife of 29 years, Tonja, love to study God's Word and worship with the Cowarts Baptist Church family.
